S-P-S International chooses Strikwerda Investments as partner for international growth
SCHIPHOL, December 20, 2018 – Strikwerda Investments (SI) and S-P-S International (S-P-S) have signed a strategic partnership to realize the international growth ambition of S-P-S. SI takes a majority interest in S-P-S, a leading European player in the design, production, rental and maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Director Paul Schmitz remains co-owner and responsible for the further development of the company in his role as CEO. S-P-S is based in the Netherlands at Schiphol Airport, has offices in eight other countries and expects strong international growth over the coming years.

S-P-S was founded in 2004 by Paul Schmitz and is now one of the largest suppliers of GSE products worldwide. The company produces and provides motorized and non-motorized GSE and Cargo Handling Systems. S-P-S specializes in renting (wet-lease) and maintaining GSE and employs approx. 110 employees operating from nine countries.
